Thomas J. Reidy 70, of Worcester, passed away unexpectedly on June 4th. He was born in Worcester and lived there most of his life. He attended Worcester Public Schools, as well as Worcester State University. He was a decorated Vietnam Veteran and was a State employee for many years. He was a regular at Congress Alley in the 1960s and spoke at a local college and other venues about his Vietnam War experience. He possessed the gift of humor and was known and liked by many in the city and had many lifelong friendships. He is predeceased by his father Thomas J. Reidy and mother Linnea Wiren both of Worcester. He is survived by his wife, Verna J. Reidy, of Wilmington, NC; daughter, Meredith (Reidy) Benkirane; two grandsons, Aden Benkirane and Kian Benkirane, all of Framingham; brothers Bruce Kerr and Robert Kerr, several nieces, and nephews.
