Thomas J. Tuson

WORCESTER- Thomas J. Tuson, 61, passed away after a long illness on Saturday, May 13, 2023 at St. Vincent Hospital.

He was born in Worcester on May 20, 1961, a son of Shirley A. (DeLorge) Tuson and the late Richard D. Tuson who passed away in 2021.

Thomas was employed for twenty years at the former Nissan Bakery Company. He also bartended at several local establishments including the former Worcester Elks, the PNI Club and The End Zone. He was an avid golfer, a die-hard Boston Sports fan and loved listening to 70’s music. He will be deeply loved and missed by all who had the pleasure to know him.

He leaves behind his son, Ryan M. Tuson of Worcester; his siblings, Richard D. Tuson and his wife, Rose of Bradenton, FL, Sandra A. Sonier of Webster, David M. Tuson of Worcester, and Kristi M. McGrath of Auburn. Tom also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews and several close friends, especially Janey whom made him happy in his last year.

Tom will also be missed by all his great friends from Webster Square, the PNI and 3G’s. Tom loved hanging out with his friends and brother Dave watching the Celtic’s, Bruin’s and the Red Sox.

Family and friends will celebrate Tom’s life with visiting hours on Friday, June 2nd from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A prayer service will conclude at 7:00 pm in the funeral home.
