WORCESTER- Timothy J. Harrington, Sr., 62, passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at St. Vincent's Hospital after a brief illness.
Timothy was born in Worcester a son of the late John F. Harrington and Claire (Fenner) and attended local schools where he attended North High School.
"Harry" as he was affectionately known, worked for many years at Ronnie's Auto Body as an auto body repair technician until his retirement. He was a member of the P.N.I. Club, and a charter member of the Worcester Dart League. Harry enjoyed watching game shows, gardening with his grandchildren and was a die-hard fan of the band "The Who".
He leaves his beloved wife of 39 years, 8 months and 5 days, Kathy Harrington; his children, Erin Harrington and her husband, George Newton, and Timothy Harrington, Jr. and his wife Allyson ("young lady"); grandchildren Claire and Jack Newton who will deeply miss their "Papa"; a sister, Kathleen Watters and his brother, John Harrington, Jr; many nieces and nephews and friends, most of whom he referred to as "Doctor". His brother, Edward Fenner and his sister, Linda Waller, predeceased him.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 24th from 10:00am until 1:00pm with a prayer service to follow at CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his memory to Veterans Inc, 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605
