West Boylston
Venetia (Federici) Pedini 94, of 265 Woodland St. died Wednesday, Sept. 1, in the Holden Nursing Home.
Her husband, Victor Pedini died in 1965. She leaves a daughter, Dorothy J. and her husband, Charles J. DiBara with whom she lived; a sister, Frances Brown of Rutland; five grandchildren, Steven C. DiBara, Susan V. Storey, Sean O'Brien, Kim O'Brien and Lynn O'Brien; five great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, all who loved her dearly. A daughter, Eleanor O'Brien died in 1992 and two brothers and three sisters, predeceased her. She was born in West Boylston, daughter of Ernest and Maria (Morini) Federici and educated in West Boylston Schools.
Venetia was a master cook and homemaker and known affectionately as Nana to many. She was a member of Saint Christopher's Church and its Woman's Guild and an avid sports fan.
The funeral will be held Saturday, Sept. 4, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 1 West Boylston St. with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in St. Christopher's Church, 950 West Boylston St., Worcester. Burial will be in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. Calling Hours are from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Holden Nursing Home, Activity Fund, 32 Mayo Dr. Holden, 01520.
