In loving Memory of Veronique Ntumba Katala, 85, who passed away peacefully in Worcester MA on Saturday May 18th, 2024.
 
Veronique was predeceased by her husband of many years, Frederick Muamba, in 1992. She leaves behind four daughters, Beatrice Bosunga, Yvonne Tanga, Odonne Biyombo, Pauline Mesu, many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also leaves many dear friends, nieces and nephews who have walked through life by her side.
 
Veronique was born in Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) to Katala Benoit and Mesu Agnes. She was married to Frederick. She loved being a housewife, and enjoyed the many tasks that came with it, especially ironing. She also loved gardening. She migrated to the United States of America in November 2001, and stayed until her passing.
 
Veronique was God fearing, loving and a prayerful woman. Her daily routine included a 2–3-hour prayer for her beloved family, naming them one by one. She enjoyed her career as a schoolteacher. Before migrating to the United States, she served the community where she lived in Kinshasa DRC.
 
Veronique will be missed by her family and friends.
 
Veronique's funeral will be held on Friday May 31st at 11AM at Callahan, Fay & Caswell Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle Street, Worcester. Followed by burial at St. John’s cemetery.  Calling hours will be held the morning of Friday May 31st from 9AM to 11AM in the funeral home.
