Victor M. Davis, 87, of Worcester passed away at home on Tuesday, May 3, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.
He leaves his wife of 54 years, Marion C. (Wells) Davis; four children, Christopher T. Davis, and Jonathan M. Davis both of Worcester, Pauline Brown of California, and Lorna Brown of Vancouver; two sisters, Sara Russell, and Lydia Davis both of Jamaica; fifteen grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. He was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica son of Frank and Cecelia (Bailey) Davis.
He was predeceased by his siblings James, Muriel, George, Johnny, Joe and Gloria Davis.
Victor worked in construction for Laborers International Union Local #243 for over 45 years, before retiring. He was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church. Victor was also an avid walker and green thumb around his home. He enjoyed cheering on the Red Sox, watching wrestling, and family trips to Jamaica and the Cayman Islands.
Visiting Hours are Tuesday, May 10 from 5 to 7pm at Callahan Fay Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St. A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 10am in the Second Baptist Church, 14 Hammond St. Burial will follow in Hope Cemetery.
