Victor M. Magliaro, 73, formerly of Leicester and Worcester died at the Ha;ifax Medical Center. He leaves two daughters, Christine Baril of Shrewsbury and Cynthia Lariviere of N. Dartmouth; four sons, Thomas Magliaro of Sterling, Timothy Magliaro of Worcester, Victor Gentile of Millbury and Mark Abruzzise of Worcester; his twin sister, Victoria Feliciano of Holly Hill, FL; two brothers, John Magliaro of Secaucus, NJ and Anthony Magliaro of Orlando, FL, eleven grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by three sisters, Theresa Hale, Virginia Patnod and Patricia Wentworth.
He was born in Worcester, son of Michael A. and Maria C. (Divilio) Magliaro. He lived in Leicester for several years where he was very active in the Leicester Lions Club and currently lived in Florida since 1985 where he was a member of the Eagles Club and the Knights of Columbus. Victor was the proud owner and founder of A-1 Trucking, which he started in 1966 and operated until its sale to a national company. He enjoyed life and was always either telling a joke or was involved in a practical joke and usually he was the object of the good-natured fun. He enjoyed dancing and spending time over coffee with friends.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 11 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Paul’s Cathedral, 15 Chatham St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours are Monday, July 10 from 5 until 8 PM in the funeral home.
