Virginia was employed as an assembler for Keeney Manufacturing Company in CT for many years. Throughout her life, Virginia found joy in the simple pleasures.  An avid reader with a love for traveling, she explored every state, with Hawaii holding a special place in her heart. Her adventures took her to numerous countries, and she particularly cherished the experience of cruising the open seas. Virginia's "lunch dates" with her daughter and friends were treasured moments filled with laughter and camaraderie. She delighted in socializing and nurturing relationships through these gatherings. She found great joy and excitement watching seagulls and butterflies in their own environment. Virginia's generous spirit extended beyond leisure activities. She actively supported the Girl Scouts, eventually becoming a member herself.

In her final moments, Virginia was surrounded by her loving family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert, and parents Hazel (Ewings) and John Mason but leaves behind a legacy of love and kindness.
