Virginia L. Pano

WORCESTER-Virginia L. (Mogren) Pano, 91,  died Tuesday, December 5 in Knollwood Nursing Home.

 

Her husband of 54 years, Christy A. Pano died in 2010. She leaves two sons, James A. Pano and Kenneth L. Pano both of Worcester; five grandchildren, Christopher Thomas Pano, Rebecca Jean Pano, Emma Jean Pano, Eric A. Friedental-Pano and Daniel M. Pano and many nieces and nephews. A son, Steven E. Pano, a brother, Randolph Mogren and a sister, Lois DeBlois predeceased her. She was born in Worcester daughter of  Randolph Mogren and  Ina (Laurin) Mogren Kronberg and her step-father, Oscar Kronberg. She graduated from Millbury High School.

 

She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where she taught Sunday school, was past president of the Church Woman’s club and was active in Anna’s circle. She was a board member and past president of the Greendale YMCA, a member of the  Red Hat Society, sat on the Scout Committee Troop 5, a member of the Worcester Chapter Rainbow Girls and a 50 year member of the Mass. Order of the Eastern Star Stella Chapter 3.

 

A Private Burial will be in All Faith Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 14 at 11am in Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St. In lieu of flowers memorial Trinity Lutheran Church, 73 Lancaster St., Worcester, 01609
