Walberto Aponte, 45, of Worcester died Thursday, June 8, in UMASS Memorial Hospital.
He leaves his wife of 21 years, Carmen Aponte; a son, Walberto Isaac Aponte; two daughters, Aida L. Aponte and Jessica Acevedo all of Worcester; his mother, Natividad Quiles of Carolina, Puerto Rico and three brothers and sisters. He was born in San Sebastian, Puerto Rico. He was a CB radio enthusiast with the handle name "N1VMZ".

The funeral will be held Saturday, June 10, from Callahan and Fay Brothers Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St. with a graveside service at 10 am in Hope Cemetery. Visiting Hours are Friday, June 9, from 6 to 9 pm at the funeral home
