WORCESTER- Walter Andrew Bostic, 79, passed away suddenly on December 27, 2022, at his home.
He was born in Worcester on January 4, 1943, a son of the late Walter Bostic Jr. and Angenette (Morse) Bostic. His wife of 38 years, Linda M. (Zibor) Bostic, died in 2019. As a young man in the early 1960s, Walter moved to New Jersey and later lived in Colorado before relocating back to Massachusetts in 1985.
For many years he was employed with National Glass in Worcester as a glass glazier and a member of the Local 35 Union. Walter was an enrolled member of both the Chaubunagungamaug Nipmuck and Hassanamisco Nipmuc Bands of the Nipmuc Tribe.
He leaves behind his children, Cheryll Holley, Zoe Vilicic, Pamela Jarosz, Sherri Putnam, Lisa Zibor, Matthew Slerzega, and Angenette Burke; fourteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren; his siblings, Anthony Bostic, Diane Morgan, Steven Bostic, and Corinne Jackson; many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Besides his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Pendarvis.
Burial will be a traditional Nipmuc ceremony at Hope Cemetery at 11AM on Saturday, January 14th.
