Walter Rodriguez

ASHLAND- Walter “Yobo” Rodriguez, 50, passed away unexpectedly on February 3, 2023, at MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.

He was born in New York, New York on December 31, 1972, a son of Pedro Enrique Rodriguez and Maria Lourdes Feliciano. Walter was employed for many years as a Team Leader of the Die-Cut Department at American Acoustical Products. An avid baseball fan, Yobo loved the New York Yankees. He enjoyed cooking and grilling and loved cars, especially his Jeep. Above all his family and friends meant the most to him.

He leaves behind his loving children, Krystal and Ashley Rodriguez of Grafton, Kaylyn Rodriguez of Spencer, Ashlyn Rodriguez of Ashland; his stepchildren, Christian Rivera of Atlanta, GA, Christopher and Elisabet Rivera of Woonsocket, RI; his longtime girlfriend, Maria Rivera of Ashland; beloved granddaughters, Julianna Provencher of Grafton and Isabella Martinez of Spencer; his siblings, Nelson Gonzalez of Staten Island, Pete Rodriguez of Clermont, FL and Tony Rodriguez of Waldorf, MD; several nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

Family and friends will celebrate Yobo’s life with visiting hours on Wednesday, February 15th from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at the Callahan, Fay & Caswell Life Celebration Home, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 11:00am at Hope Cemetery.
