Walter J. Walls

ROCHDALE-Walter J "Snooky" Walls, 69, formerly of Worcester, died Friday, May 21 at UMass Memorial Healthcare.

He leaves his wife of 51 years, Judith A. (Decelle) Walls; four children, James R. Walls and his wife Nola of Worcester, Michael J. Walls of Winchester, VA, Robert J. Walls of Rochdale and Steven Walls and his wife Lynne of Rochdale; one brother, Robert J. Walls and his wife Judith of Spencer, and two sisters, Patricia A Graziano and her Husband Arthur of Huntington, West Virginia and Kathleen M. Evans of Worcester. He was the devoted "Grampy" to Kevin, Tiffany, Cori, Brianna, Jeffrey, Nicholas, his two step-granddaughters, Kizzy and Tonya, a step-grandson, Scott Grabauskas and his wife Rebecca of Oxford and three great step-grandchildren, Andrew, Mackenzie and Tori. He was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey J. Walls.

Walter was born in Worcester in 1940 the son of Russell J. and Dorothy V. (Cotter) Walls. Walter was self-employed most of his life and has owned and operated Walls Auto Sales and Towing for the past 25 years. He was a member of Leicester Business Association, the Shelby American Automobile Club and co-founder of SAAC New England Region. He adored his family and his passions were playing with his tractor, tinkering with cars and his Shelby's.

At his request funeral services and calling hours will be private. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
