William P. Brennan Sr. 78 of 23 Wheelock St. died Wednesday (April17) at home after an illness.
He leaves two sons, William P. Brennan Jr. of Leicester and T.J. Brennan of Webster, two daughters, Janice E. Jurkenas of Leicester and Gail Wolf of Oxford, his former wife, Eva H. (Gleick) Brennan of Leicester, a brother, James F. Brennan of Port St.Lucie, FL and a sister Dr. Catherine Brennan of Worcester, eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A brother Harry Brennan of Worcester and a sister Patricia Jennings of Grafton predeceased him. He was born in Worcester son of William F. and Catherine F. (Hurley) Brennan. He graduated from Saint John's High School. He was a Navy Veteran of WW II.
He worked as a truck driver for Schuster's Express for several years before retiring.
He was a member of the Auburn Elks and a former member of the Billerica Elks.
A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday (April 24) at 11 a.m. in Fay Brothers Funeral Home (www.faybrothers.com) 9 Hammond St, Worcester. Burial will be private in Saint John's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Auburn Elks Scholarship Fund 754 Southbridge St, Auburn 01501
