William J. Scales

William J. Scales, 63, of Auburn died Mon., Oct. 15.

He leaves two sons, William J. Scales of Huntington Beach, CA and Michael D. Scales of Irving, CA; two grandchildren and a niece. A brother, Francis P. Scales predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of William J. and Mary (Kittridge) Scales and graduated from South High School and Worcester Junior College.

William was a sales manager for Silver Reed Company, before retiring. He was an avid golfer and member of the Knights of Columbus Senior Golf League. Bill was also very involved in the Make a Wish Foundation.

A Memorial Mass will be held Thurs., Oct. 18 at 10 AM in St. Peter's Church, 931 Main St. CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St., Worcester is directing arrangements. www.callahanfay.com
