William B. Soutra 49, of 50 Franklin St. died Thursday, Oct 9, at home, after an illness.

He leaves two sons, Joseph E. Soutra and William B. Soutra Jr.; two daughters, Kayla C. Soutra and Caroline A. Soutra, all of Worcester; his former wife, Penny (Coyne) Soutra of Worcester; his parents, Walter A. and Marguerite T. (Courtney) Soutra of Worcester; two brothers, Mark A. Soutra of Worcester and Walter R. Soutra of Northbridge; two sisters, Paula E. Iannotti of Worcester and Christine Bjorklund of Oxford; and nephews and nieces. He was born in Worcester and attended Boys Trade School. He was a Marine Corp Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was an auto worker for General Motors Company for several years, before retiring. He was a member of the Main South American Legion Post %23341 and St. Andrew the Apostle Church.

A Funeral will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, from FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME 9 Hammond St. with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding St. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery. Calling Hours are Monday, Oct 13. From 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. (www.faybrothers.com)
